Labelled by Lara
Hire Agreement
By paying the rental price to Labelled by Lara, you are agreeing to hire the garment from Labelled by Lara subject to the terms and conditions set out in this document.
You acknowledge and agree that:
The garment remains Labelled by Lara property at all times;
You must not damage the garment; and
You bear the entire risk of loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use and storage of the garment from collection/emailed receipt until the return of the garment to Labelled by Lara.
It is the full responsibility of you (the borrower) to ensure try-ons are undertaken if you need to check sizing and to ensure you are satisfied with the condition of the dress, as no refunds are given.
Payment
3. Payment of the rental price must be made at the time the order is placed through the payment services provided by Labelled by Lara. Labelled by Lara is unable to process your order(s) until such payment is made and proof of payment is received
4. Payment of hire signifies agreement to our Terms and Conditions.
5. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of rental price and postage (if applicable) AND proof of payment (via website or other means if applicable).
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) as we are ONLY open for customers that are based in Western Australia
6. Once the rental price for a garment has been paid for in full, subject to any other clause of this agreement;
Payments are non refundable, make sure you are 100% sure of your garment as we strictly do not offer refunds or store credit if you change your mind. This includes size or fit as booking a rental without trying it on is at your own risk. We can provide size guides if requested but please note we cannot guarantee that these are 100% accurate as they are taken straight from the brands website. Measurements of the length can also be provided if requested. No refunds or store credits will be issued for complaints about the dress not fitting
Hire Period
7. All garments are booked for a 4-day rental period, for local pick up or Australia Post delivery. Garments are shipped out from Labelled by Lara on the Tuesday of the week of the hire to arrive on the Thursday or Friday. This means midweek postal rentals are unavailable at the moment. The garment must be posted back to Labelled by Lara the following Monday (unless organised otherwise).
For example, local pickup located in Meadow Springs, Mandurah WA are booked from Thursday to Sunday; return by Monday 5pm to the collection site. Pickup is also available 1-2 days before your event. Please message me on Instagram or email to arrange a pick up time.
Once you have arranged a pick up time with us through email or DM your rental will be placed in the white box outside the front door for collection. Please understand that if you don't arrange a pick up time with us the dress will not be in the box.
For example, mail delivery booking from Thursday to Sunday; return garment using your supplied prepaid label to an Australia Post outlet by Monday 5pm.If the rental is posted back you will be liable for all late fees and any rentals that may be impacted for the next weekend.
8. Longer hire periods are to be agreed upon in writing between Labelled by Lara and the borrower.
Returns and Late Fees
9. All garments are to be returned to Labelled by Lara (unless otherwise agreed by Labelled by Lara in writing) by 5pm 4-days (inclusive) following collection of the garment.
If you selected pick up as your delivery method, you must return the garment to the same address as you collected it from by the return date unless otherwise arranged in writing with Labelled by Lara.
If you received the dress via post, please use the return prepaid label provided and lodge with an Australia Post outlet before 5pm on your return date (we do not recommend placing in an Australia Post post box as you will not have proof of lodgement in the event that the parcel is lost or delayed by Australia Post).
10. If the garment is not returned by agreed return time:
You will be charged late fees in the amount of $15 per day until the garment is returned to Labelled by Lara; and
And the garment is not returned within 7 days from the Return Time, the late fees you will be charged will be the amount of the recommended retail price (RPP) of the garment as listed on Labelled by Lara’s website.
Condition, Cleaning, and Damage
11. You agree to return the garment to Labelled by Lara in the condition it was provided to you. Please be honest and let me know of any damages before returning the garment for both minor and major damages.
12. All cleaning of the garment will be arranged by Labelled by Lara. In hiring the garment you agree that you will not attempt to clean the garment (the garment may be further damaged by this process). This included excessive staining (fake tan, makeup, alcohol, nail polish or severe soiling). If multiple attempts of hand washing the garment to remove the stains is unsuccessful there will be a dry cleaning fee required (to be determined at the discretion of Labelled by Lara acting reasonably)
You will be liable for the full dry cleaning cost of the garment (which is to be paid by you in addition to the rental price already paid), which will be determined in good faith by Labelled by Lara and which may be up to, but not above, the invoiced amount.
13. If a garment is returned with minor damage (to be determined at the discretion of Labelled by Lara) e.g zipper repair, small hole repair and loose stitching.
You will be liable for the cost of the repair (which is to be paid by you in addition to the rental price already paid). The cost of repair will be determined in good faith by Labelled by Lara)
14. If a garment is returned with major damage (to be determined at the discretion of Labelled by Lara acting reasonably)
You will be liable for the full replacement cost of the garment (which is to be paid by you in addition to the rental price already paid), which will be determined in good faith by Labelled by Lara and which may be up to, but not above, the RPP of the garment. Upon payment the garment will be returned to you.
15. You agree to pay the additional fees and costs (if applicable) set out in this agreement within 7 days of being advised of that amount in writing.
Refund and Cancellation
16. You will not be entitled to a refund for the garment. However entitled to a refund if the garment you receive is damaged beyond normal wear and tear expected of a hired garment (to be determined by Labelled by Lara at Labelled by Lara’s discretion and acting reasonably). You acknowledge and agree that you are hiring a second-hand garment that has been worn previously and that some wear and tear is to be expected.
17. If you wish to cancel your order
All orders are final therefore if you wish to cancel, neither a refund or credit is available
HOWEVER,
If you have selected pick up and decided you want to cancel your order 48 hours before the event there will be a $15 fee taken from the order and you will be credited the balance only.
Collection of Outstanding Amounts
18. Labelled by Lara reserves the rights to take all steps necessary to collect amounts due from you, including but not limited to legal action and/or using third party collection agencies.
Try On’s
20. All try on’s require a $10 booking fee to secure your time slot, as well as a valid form of government issued ID. Try-ons can be booked via our website or through Instagram @labelled_by_lara. Try-ons are available all year round on Wednesdays’, Thursdays and weekends. Labelled by Lara reserves the rights to refuse any try-ons at any time.
21. The $10 try on fee is non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with a hire, fail to show for the appointment or cancel your appointment within 72 hours. If you decide to hire during or after your appointment, the $10 fee will be deducted from the hire cost
22. Some bookings happen very last minute (especially pick ups) so sometimes the dresses that you have asked to try on won’t be there. If you are only coming in for one specific dress please DM us on THE DAY of your try on to check if the dress is in the try on room.

WA wide express shipping is $24.00 AUD, including your return pre-paid label which is additional to the hire price
